From a site to a brief in seven steps
Everything the app asks, in the order it makes sense on site.

Choose the kind of work
Nine kinds, from a new installation or tenant build-out to code corrections. The kind decides which sections the brief needs.
Describe the site
Address, size, occupancy, when the work can happen, target months and access notes, plus who Coastline should reply to.
Add the existing service
Voltage and phases, rating, and the highest demand measured over 12 months or a 30-day recording.
Type the panel directories
Circuit by circuit, as the card reads today. The check lists what to describe better.
List the new loads
Each piece of equipment in kVA, kW or amperes at its voltage, marked continuous when it runs 3 hours or more.
Count the lighting
Fixtures, watts, hours and days in each area, and the watts of the fixtures that would replace them.
Send the brief
Mark the documents you have, read the brief and email it to Coastline from your own email app.
The example, worked out
| Figure | Value |
|---|---|
| New load, connected | 31.2 kVA |
| Planning load, continuous at 125% | 35.1 kVA (97.5 A on 208Y/120 V 3φ) |
| Capacity check, 400 A service | 63.4 A to spare |
| Panel A directory | 4 items to fix |
| Sales floor lighting, a year | 12,370 → 6,290 kWh |
The example and its people are made up. The figures are planning figures, not a code load calculation.
