Privacy policy

Effective October 16, 2026. The Scope Planner keeps everything on your phone; this policy says what a brief holds when you send it.

1. Who we are

Coastline Scope Planner is an Android app of COASTLINE ELECTRICAL SERVICES, LLC ("Coastline"), 8 Filko Ave, Unit 4, Swansea, MA 02777, United States. Coastline publishes this policy. Questions: sales@coastlinees.com or (508) 262-6496.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the Coastline Scope Planner app and its website pages. It does not cover what happens to a message after you send it with another app.

A phone beside a notebook

3. What the app keeps

The projects you create: their name and kind, the site address and access notes, the contact details you type for the brief, the service, panels and circuits, the new loads, the lighting areas, the documents checklist and your notes. It also keeps the form you are editing, so a closed app reopens where you were.

An empty tray

4. What the app never collects

No location, contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone, advertising identifier, analytics or crash reports. The app does not know who you are unless you type it into a project.

5. Where it is kept

Everything stays in the app's private storage on your phone. Coastline has no copy of it and no server for the app.

A coiled cable unplugged

6. No account, no internet

The app has no account, no sign-in and no internet permission. It cannot send anything by itself.

An envelope and a phone

7. Sharing you start

When you email a brief, share it or copy it, the text goes to the app you choose and to the people you send it to. You can read the whole text before it leaves.

A desk phone

8. Calls

Tapping call opens your phone app with Coastline's number, (508) 262-6496. The app never places a call by itself.

9. What Coastline receives

Coastline receives only what you send it, for example a brief emailed to sales@coastlinees.com. It uses it to answer your project request. Its website privacy policy and terms cover messages it receives.

10. Children

The app is made for businesses planning electrical work and is not directed at children under 13.

An eraser on paper

11. Keeping and deleting

A project stays until you delete it. Deleting asks first and cannot be undone. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes every project.

A closed drawer

12. No backup copies

The app is excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer, so a new phone starts empty. Email or share a brief to keep a copy outside the phone.

Security

Android keeps the app's storage private to the app. Lock your phone with a PIN or fingerprint, since anyone who can open your phone can open the app.

A padlock

Permissions

The app asks for no permission at all.

Your choices

You decide what to type, what to send and when to delete it. To ask about a brief you already sent, write to sales@coastlinees.com.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the app and the website show the new version and its date. This version is effective 16 October 2026.

Other apps you choose

Your email, phone, share and browser apps handle what you send through them under their own terms and policies.
