What the app and this site are

Planning tools for a commercial electrical project: they collect the scope, work out planning figures from what you type and write a brief to send to Coastline.

Planning figures, not a calculation

The figures are not a load calculation under the electrical code, a conductor or breaker size, an engineering opinion or a price. The electrician doing the work makes the calculations the code asks for.

Code notes

The notes summarise public sources and link to them. The adopted code text and the inspector having jurisdiction decide what applies at a site.

The example

The example project, its people and its figures are made up.

The tools on this site

They work in your browser on what you type and keep nothing when you leave the page.

Your data

Everything the app records stays on the phone; the privacy policy says what a brief holds when you send it.
